Racer Ages Per Class

KITTY CAT AMATEUR, VINTAGE, & STOCK CLASS: Eligible drivers must attain the age of 4 before being allowed to enter competition. If a driver attains the age of 4 during the race season, they may be allowed to enter competition. Drivers must not reach the age of 15 prior to the first published race for the upcoming WKCR race season. A driver may no longer participate in Amateur Kitty Cat once the driver becomes 8 years of age, unless it is the first year of racing. An Amateur racer is only eligible to race KC Amateur, KC Stock, and Vintage while considered an Amateur. To move on to other classes, such as KC Improved, etc. an Amateur racer must be at least age 5 and either graduate per the rules listed below or be removed from Amateur status by their parents. Once removed from Amateur status, a driver cannot return to Amateur status. Please note that other classes have age and experience guidelines. If an Amateur graduates out of the class they are allowed to race the more advanced classes the same day as long as they meet all other requirements.

KITTY CAT IMPROVED: A driver must compete for a full year in a Stock Class and be five years of age before competing in the KC Improved Class. Drivers must not reach the age of 15 prior to the first published race for the upcoming WKCR race season.  A driver entering KC Improved can no longer participate in Kitty Cat Amateur Stock.

KITTY CAT FIII & FI: Drivers in FIII & FI (including Beginner F-1) Kitty Cat must be at least 7 and must not reach the age of 15 prior to the first published race for the upcoming WKCR race season.  A driver must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Kitty Cat or 120 Stock Class.

120 AMATEUR AND STOCK CLASSES: Eligible drivers must attain the age of 4 before being allowed to enter competition. 120 SUPER STOCK & IMPROVED STOCK: A driver must compete for a full year in a 120 Stock or KC Stock Class and be six years of age before competing in these classes. Drivers must not reach the age of 15 prior to the first published race for the upcoming WKCR race season.

120 SPRINT, 120 VINTAGE CHAMP & 120 CHAMP: Drivers must be at least 7 and must not reach the age of 15 prior to the first published race for the upcoming WKCR race season.    A driver must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Kitty Cat or 120 Stock Class.

SEMI-PRO and PRO 206 Class: Per ISR Rules. Racers with Amateur Status cannot race either class.

JUNIOR VINTAGE STOCK 300: Junior Vintage racing is available to drivers ages 10 to 14. A driver who turns 15 during the race season may complete the season.

JUNIOR STOCK (Open I, II and Artic Cat): Junior Stock racing is available to drivers ages 10 to 14. A driver who turns 15 during the race season may complete the season.
